Metabolism-Boost Smoothie

This smoothie is one of my favorite post workout. It evolved a little over time, it's also good as a smoothie bowl with blueberries in it. Excellent post workout, or as a breakfast or high protein meal!


  1. 1 scoop vanilla XS Recharge protein powder OR 6 ounces vanilla nonfat Greek yogurt

  2. 8 almonds (or cashews)

  3. 1/4 cup broccoli florets, stems cut (If you don't like broccoli, I have used spinach, but about 1/2 cup)

  4. 1 cup frozen strawberries (or any preference of berries)

  5. 1/4 cup cannellini or garbanzo beans

  6. 3/4 cup water OR iced green tea (If you need an energy boost, the green tea really helps)

  7. 1 teaspoon flaxmeal (if you don't mind the crunch, you can just use the seeds)

  8. 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)


  1. Pour all ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth.

  2. Pour into a glass and sprinkle a dash of cinnamon on top. Enjoy immediately.
